THE KEYESVILLE CLASSIC TURNS 21 IN STYLE

Bionicon successfully promoted the 21st Annual Keyesville Classic Race, increasing registration by 30% and raising thousands of dollars for trail stewardship.

Ridgecrest, California – April 15, 2009 – Title Sponsor Bionicon Bicycles successfully promoted and directed the Keyesville Classic in partnership with Southern Sierra Fat Tire Association (SSFTA) of Bakersfield, CA who has operated the event for the last 20 years. The 21st Annual Keyesville Classic had very fun vibe with more vendors, racers and smiles than it has seen in years. Thousands of dollars were raised for Trail Stewardship Programs and the event is on track to be bigger and better next year, continuing the tradition of the fabulous event. A huge thank you goes out to all the great Volunteers and Sponsors who helped make this years race such a success.

Nearly 300 riders from all over the west coast came out to enjoy the great trails, weather and atmosphere at the 21st Annual Keyesville Classic. This year’s event included the Keyesville Classic XC, Short Track, the Snake Pit and Dutch Flat Combined Time Downhill, Trials Competition and the Bionicon All-Mountain Stage Race. There was a great showing of Pro racers this year and the WTB team riders dominated, earning multiple podium spots and claiming the All-Mountain Title.

Year after year riders and their families flock to the Keyesville Classic for its challenging courses, great camping, scenery and atmosphere.
